We use a Land Rover Discovery 4X4 with satelite navigation and a 3500kgs (3.5 tonnes) towing capacity. We offer a very friendly and reliable service and based in the North Warwickshire / Staffordshire area, but all distances and areas of the UK covered. We can tow your caravan and even site it on your pitch for you and collect your caravan after your holiday to return it back to your chosen storage facility.
Example Pricing
- To transport a twin axle caravan from Tamworth (B77) to Stechford (B33) total 15 miles one direction. Cost to customer £18 based on £1.20 per mile.
- To transport a twin axle caravan from Tamworth (B77) to Skegness (PE25) 113 miles one direction. Cost to customer £113 based on £1.00 per mile.
- To transport a twin axle caravan from Tamworth (B77) to Newton Abbot in South Devon (TQ12) 200 miles one direction. Cost to customer £190 based on 95p per mile.
1 to 100 miles = £1.20 per mile
101 to 199 miles = £1.00 per mile
200 or more = 95p per mile
The Service includes;
If required an inspection and report of any external damage or problems before removal including photographs of damaged area.
Signature on receipt of caravan from seller/keeper.
If the keys are available, the securing of all internal moveable items before travel.
Check of any inventory items at customer’s request.
Direct tow to your chosen destination.
Parking or and securing at the chosen destination.
Handover of keys etc to the customer or designated person.
In the event of lighting defects on your caravan we carry a lighting board on the vehicle.
What cannot be included in the Service;
Additional costs accrued due to unforeseen defects with caravan whilst towing. It is the resposibility of the owner or the person who contracts me to ensure that the caravan is in a roadworthy condition. Also, if on arrival, the vehicle is found to be un-roadworthy, then the owner or person who contracts me will be responsible for any costs incurred, even if the vehicle has not been moved. No conveyance of animals or people. Any ferry, tunnel or toll road charges are extra.
